I'll be adding a menu system

I have fsmenu on my other sites, I'll be adding that to this site so navigation will be easier.

I get it from here: 'DHTML/Javacript Menu by TwinHelix Designs'

Marsport Area update

The basic layout of Marsport. This is an updated map

Only the larger orbital jumpers can be seen at this scale.

Private residences don't really show up at this scale. The buildings that do are miles across.

This map is 185 miles by 234 miles. The channel is about 5 miles across. The houses of Old Town wont show up on this scale.

The Dream Park Complex consists of 4 buildings. Bldg 1 is offices, costume storage, etc. Bldg 2 is the landing field. Bldg 3 is storage and construction. Bldg 4 is the game area.

New Town consists of 12 apartment buildings, 3 shopping blocks, and 4 office blocks.

The apartments are 1 through 12; shopping blocks are lettered A, B, and C; the office blocks are D, E, F, and G. Many trading and mining companies have offices here, along with several banks, asteroid belt mining companies, along with a few outer solar system exploration organizations.

Old Town consists of buildings too small to show at this scale.

Yes, the buildings you see are miles wide.

Concourse: 25 miles across.

Dome 3: 15 miles Dome 4: 44 miles

Dream Park office: 41 miles by 15.5 miles New Town apartments: 3.5 miles by 6 miles

Office blocks D, E, F, and G: 10.5 miles by 5 miles Shopping blocks A, B, and C: 8.8 miles by 8.8 miles

Spaceport landing field: 15 miles by 15 miles

adding an area for 'Space 1899'

I have the books for the rpg game 'SPACE: 1889'. And the rpg game book for 'Dream Park'.

I'll probably be combining them in this site, a Dream Park with the theme of 'SPACE: 1889'.

Here is a link to the main site for that game.

I don't have the skill to use Profantasy's 'Campaign Cartogtrapher' to make ships like there are in the game. But I'll link to sites that do have such ships.

Hopefully I'll have the time to make this interesting.

I'll try to update more often

Updating once a year seems well i should work on this site more often.

Profantasy is working on a new version of Character Artist.

I hope that means I'll be able to make a more varied set of characters for this site.

I've been thinking about taking the silly bits out and makem ore effort into typing it into my other sites.

This is stop 25 on this hike. A Homage to the Starships.

working on the site

Adding and updating how the blog works. I will try and add more maps and text. Pagination is also something I am working on.

Dr. Pat Fullnar's office

The entrance to her office, room 170, only has 'Private Office' on the door. There are many such in the Spaceport.

Some of the people sitting in the waiting room are guards. They rotate out with other plain clothes guards so visitors don't wonder why they never get to see Dr. Fullnar. She is located in room 171.

Who is she ? She is in charge of the Spaceport.

Yes, that is a hidden door in her restroom, an emergency escape route.

close ups of the ships

Passenger Liner, Type 1

Passenger Liner, Type 2

Planetary Ship, Type 1

a closeup of the Spaceport area

The Spaceport is 24 miles across. Each of the 6 concourses are 79.68 square miles. Ten, 20, and 100 passenger buses pick up passengers at each ship and take them to the spaceport. Oddly, many arrivals at Marsport never leave the spaceport. Evidently they get confused and think the spaceport is all of Marsport. Must be the size with over 200 floors, each large enough to be a small city.

Passenger Liners, Type 1, are in the largest numbers. They are on landing zones 1, 6, 7, 8, 15, and 17.

Passenger Liners, Type 2, are in landing zone 22.

Planetary Ship, Type 1 is in landing zone 16.

Type 1s are 4000 feet long by 3300 feet wide. Type 2s are 4900 feet long by 7265 feet wide. The type twos have the largest wing surfaces for lift in the thin Martian atmosphere. The others use the brute force of their engines. Their wings don't give enough lift for their mass.

I hope you like my site so far

I realize this is a silly web site, but I hope you like it.

Plans are in the works to add more maps, particularly of the buildings.
